Flexible Survival

Maybe this was asked a long time ago, but sometimes when a long history is on the screen, the program can move really slowly. Some events and fights clear the screen but is there a specific command to do it without having to find a monster to fight? Apology if this is obvious or asked before, I tried search function.

I open and close the help menu, it's not perfect but it does clear the screen for me.
