No longer connecting to server

For some reason I keep getting this message when I try to connect:
"The "Flexible Survival" server has closed the connection"
This started a day or two ago and has yet to resolve itself. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Do I need to add more information to get some assistance or am I just crying in the rain.

Not sure, try port 2222 or 2000 or 23 or 22222

The problem is back again and changing the port does not help.

Sometimes there are server crashes, which usually coincide with updates. You may just have to wait a bit if that's the case.
