Flexible Survival

So, its been a while since I've been on, and I'm having trouble with the Kitsune/Strange fox. I seem to recall that to get the kitsune infection you have to do the strange fox quest, then after unlocking the hideaway, go have sex with him, but it doesn't seem to be working? The character started with the researcher feat, so that might be it, but I'm not even getting vials from my encounters with him. Am I doing something wrong, or has hat content been moved/removed? Sorry if this has been asked. I did a search, but didn't find any notes on it.
