Trying to figure out something about Susan

Okay, I'm doing a test-run that requires I be uninfected by transformative strains until I after I save Elijah and either heal him or cause him to fall. I've brought Susan back to Dr. Matt, but even though I have Microwaved and reject the Deer nanites it still transforms my PC into a herm. Will this affect my sanity rating, or is it just a minor problem that I can ignore until after Elijah?

Any infection prompt from Susan also comes with an automatic trigger for the sex change check as well.
