New Game Engine

Hi!

As a fellow programmer I'd love to hear some more info about the new engine. :)
The frontend is not that interesting (putting up some buttons that trigger actions or an html view with some text, images and music is not that hard), but it would be cool if you could share your thoughts about what is planned for the content managment itself.
Will you have your own script language or use a third party script engine? I guess we need something that replaces Inform7 in a way that the authors can define new entities (items, persons, etc.) with their attributes and probably actions. Also there has to be a way to define new player actions (e.g. the "hunting" or the "enlarge/shrink" of body parts the player can do after a while) and game mechanics. Also the texts are pretty dynamic themselves (e.g. inserting the number of cocks|cunts into the text, displaying different texts depening on the player status etc.).

Anyhow I am glad that a player will do this who has some insight in the game mechanics instead of someone from the outside. :)

As said above: Would love to hear details as I can't stop thinking about how something like this would be implemented the best. ^-^

As of right now it looks as if he is having the engine parse Inform source code.

How's the new engine coming along by the way? I noticed that the programmer stopped updating his Git and I haven't noticed activity there so I just thought I'd ask.
