Body change TF graphics?

How about adding some generic body part TF graphics, to show hands to paws, feet to digitigrade, face to muzzle, etc? Don't have to be in color or too species specific, so they could be used for multiple TFs.

Of course, you'd have to have some way of either tagging the TFs, or a table referencing the TF to an appropriate graphic for the change.

The table would probably be the best way to go, since you could have TF specific change graphics that way, one for each shift....

You can display pngs, I'm not sure about animated gifs (it would depend on what glulx supports)... you could do a slide show in a separate side window for sure, or an image series with "[more]" pauses between each.

Glimmr has an animated canvas extension, to do much more than a simple animated gif would.

Oooh... this looks like it has possibilities: http://vorple-if.com/

Vorple may allow you to add graphics to the online version of FS as well, I'll have to read more on it...

...and it's not mature enough yet. :( Only supports z-machine, doesn't support glulx or status windows. So, it's not there yet... but Vorple is worth keeping an eye on.

Yea, Vorple sang sweet enchanting songs at me about a year ago. Sad they still haven't gotten where we need them to be.
